Just when I thought I'd seen it all...

So a customer brings me a laptop that has a cracked screen. He took it to a local repair shop and they sat on it for two months. He finally decides to go pick it up and bring it to me (you'd be surprised how much business I get this way). First thing I notice is the plug isn't for this laptop (it's a Toshiba lappy and they gave him an HP cord that doesn't even fit it). No biggie, I got parts laying around the shop, so I grab a Toshiba cord and fire it up. Next I turn it on with a monitor plugged into the VGA port on the side to see if there's damage to the board, and it tells me the HDD cable is loose. Not uncommon when someone drops a laptop I figure, so I flip it over and unscrew the plate. After removing the caddy, I then discover the hard drive was removed, and the plate was put back on it! To add insult to injury, the RAM has also been taken out! What kind of shady a$$hole does that to a customer?

I'm glad I don't need to rely on a tech for repairs, because I don't know anyone that looks to see if the HDD or RAM was ripped off before heading home from the repair shop.

Moral of the story... A+ certified or not, know who you're dealing with before you take your machine to a tech!

anyone no if am intiteld to sue the playstation company as this is a very bad breach of trust on ps3 and also to keep it under wraps for nearly to weeks is totaly is outrages who if anyone do i contact regarding legale action. any feed back on this would be grately appreciated. kind regards terry henderson engerland.

What do you expect? The only letters in his alphabet are A B X Y R T L S D P J O I C and K - all the letters needed to spell ABXY (buttons) RT and LT (Triggers) RB and LB (more buttons) START, D PAD, and JOYSTICK.
