Less avi snaps on emumovies?

Right now there are 575 genesis avi video snaps.yet there are 1018 flv genesis video snaps.same goes for nes video snaps.not to mention all avi snaps have been taken off the ftp

I know that gameex plays flv snaps,but they play so slow it isnt worth it.converting flv to avi is such a pain!

I dont think anyone is playing favorites. Circo used to get accused of that when working with me before HS came along so its not a new thing. Im sure that is not the case. Its probably down to user created content and an accident or WIP if AVIs have been removed from the FTP.

I agree with Tom. There is a boatload of content on that site and i would imagine it's a nightmare to keep up with. A few months ago some things got misplaced or routed to incorrectly and it was fixed within a day. Generally Circo sends out a PM to everyone explaining what happened. This is probably the same thing.

He shouldn't have to explain how he does business no matter what the situation IMHO.

Not that I don't appreciate his PMs mind you, he just doesn't seem to me to be shady in any way and it hurts to see that he feels the need to explain himself everytime something happens over there. The few times I've dealt with him he's gone above and beyond for me.

I agree. I think that if someone has a question about another product or support being provided, the forum for that product if a functionality or general content question is more appropriate. If there is any feeling of impropriety, then email the person directly and give them an opportunity to explain. There may be an issue preventing the content from being used or other reasons and private conversation may be preferred.

I don't think that it was intended to place blame in as much as to see if anyone else in our forum was experiencing the same, but probably more appropriate to contact that author directly if any concerns as such. He is usually pretty receptive and has been very helpful to me even when not asked directly for assistance.

I know he wasnt playing favorites,it was just something on my mind and it came out the wrong way.Sometimes my loyalty to a certain product has me stating things in the wrong way.Turns out some one had deleted the avi folder on the ftp.As most of you guys know,flv is the only format HS is able to play,and I thought flv was getting put ahead of avi.All is good now

Not that it matters now,as I have converted all the genesis\megadrive flv video snaps to avi.they are available on the ftp as of now

Oh I didnt think it was aimed at me my friend,in fact we are on the same page.the whole reason I made this thread was because I thought flv snaps were getting purposely getting put ahead of avi snaps,as most know flv is the only format HS can play...

LOL you got me. about those avi snaps the latest no intro genesis-megadrive set is on the ftp now,as I type this I am converting SNES flv snaps so nobody else has to go through the trouble of converting

you know the only reason I even noticed this was because I just updated my genesis,nes and snes sets before I just had the US version now I have gotten the europe and japan versions as well.

not trying to start trouble.just making sure the better FE gets the attention it deserves.... (did I really just type that?!?! YES I DID!!)
