Ok I know this is going to be an easy solution but I have looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot find it.

I want to configure SSF via deamon tools but game EX needs to have iso support installed.

I ran setup wizard with all options but could not see it there, even in the search fields I couldnt find anything.

How do I enable iso support in Game EX? do I have to re-instal?

Thanks in advance

Daemon tools needs to be installed separately and then can be used in the Launch Before/After settings of Emulator Setup. There are many examples of the command line all over the forums. GameEx also has it's own ISO support that utilizes Virtual Clone Drive. The help text explains usage found in the Command Line setting of Emulator Setup.

This is the Command Line used to launch the emulator and ROM. Specify the command you wish to run.

The directory and drive would priviously have been set to that specified in the Working Path. You

can use any setting from this section by placing it in square brackets. Additonaly you specify

[ROM] the Rom Name without file extestion, or [ROMFILE] for the Full ROM File Name with

extension.

If the rom filename is an iso file, you can specify [VIRTUALDRIVE] and GameEx

will automatically mount the iso. [VirtualDrive] will be replaced with the

drive letter of the virtual drive. Ensure you install ISO support when

installing GameEx.

To mount the image without changing the cmd line specify [-virtualdrive-]

Here are few examples:

Command=MAME.exe [ROM] -ROMPATH=[ROMPATH]

Command=Project64.exe [ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]

Command=WINDVD.exe [VIRTUALDRIVE]:\

Command=unz.exe[-VIRTUALDRIVE-]

Thanks,

I prefer to use deamon tools lite as virtual clone drive does not run as well as deamon in my experiance.

I did another forum search and have got SSF working fine now, ish... lol

Thanks again,

As in my experience as well. Daemon Tools supports many more image types. Glad all is sorted out. Marking as [RESOLVED]! Enjoy!
