I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I'm using the resident control panel viewer in Gamex and it works great for me in Mame. However, I am having problems getting it to work with Emulator 1, Fusion for Sega Genesis games. I have set the control panel image path and that comes up when I load Sega games, but no labels on it. Do I add the Sega games to the control.ini file used for Mame games? I have edited and created new entry for Mame games so I'm comfortable adding new ones. If that is what I need to do, I believe I am encountering a Sega ROM naming issue, how would I name the ROM? "Cool Spot" or Cool Spot.gen" or do i need ot do the whole path. I have treid each of these but to no avail, thanks for any advice.

You actually set this up under the emulator config. You can either point it right at your default image (like gencontrols.png for example, in png or jpeg) or point it at a folder if you want a seperate one per game (like Sonic The Hedgehog (U).png as long as the file is exactly the same as the name of the game you're launching). If you choose to do the latter, it will only show an image if you have one tied to that particular game.

Feel free to ask if you have any other questions. :)

Ok, so I'm assuming there is no way to set up some sort of control.ini file with all of the games and there controls listed like the Mame setup then? And thanks for the really qucik response that was awesome.

I'm not sure I follow you... Maybe look into CPanel Viewer by Headkaze?
