Karaoke Tools question

Does anyone have any recommendations for a freeware Karaoke CDG/MP3 renaming utility? Depending on the source of the karaoke files, the naming conventions are all over the place and I would like to be able to order better based on genre (Rock, Country, etc.) Artist, and Song Name. I could do so individually but with hundreds of files it is daunting and not quite the chore I want to kill a few days off doing.

As far as freeware then I would recommend a renaming utility. Maybe Bulk Rename Utility. Other than that I never really found anything to my liking which is why I use paid software for all my karaoke needs.

fReq - you PAID for Karaoke? Wel,, I guess we all pay for it in one way or another, eh?

I just started a little tinkering with it and can see using it when my adult kids come to visit and party a little with us old folks so not looking for anything major. I might just take a look at Bulk Rename Utility to see if it can be adapted for use. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes I paid! LOL. I was a KJ here at my local bar. Hence where the my name derived from! There's a few of us karaoke users here in the forums that have a nice collection. I use a paid renamer, song book generator, player, and the music of course. There's a decent namer out there that's free but it generates it's list from one of the paid databases so a bulk renaming utility is your best bet at this time.
