Good way would be to create shortcuts and simply run with the following command-line:

""[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]""

what should i use for the emulator path? maybe someone that has the all setup could post your .ini so i could take a look? thanks

Emulator will be same as rom path. For an example just import the config included with GameEx.

I make shortcuts to my games and put them into a folder called Roms. Then in the advanced config, I show GameEx where that folder is and use *.lnk as the file type. Just like fRequEnCy said, use ""[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"" as command line.

Keep in mind that a .lnk file is a Windows shortcut file and not the actual exe file. Using the .link or shortcut allows Windows to take over and handle the paths from there.

I have had some success using a program called Game Launcher to which i have created icon images that correspond to the games. You can create and place the program shortcuts in a centralized folder for easy management. That, coupled with the Game Launcher utility has saved me a lot of time and hassle.

Right. The *.lnk is just the rom filter. Guess I forgot to say that...

Thanks everyone by creating a roms folder and adding shorcuts fixed the issues. This forum is the best thanks again.

ok still having an issue. In GameEx it says i have to games in windows games folder but when i click to view games it s like it double clicks and goes straight into the first game and just gives me the option to play game?

ok i turned off the treat as pc game and that fixed issue with going straight into the first game. but now only one of the two games will launch through GameEx. i have both games shorcuts set up the same way so i dont get it? the game will start to launch then goes right back the GameEx? the othere game launches no issues.

One may need some tweaking. What game is it?
