Hi, I'm creating some icons for a theme that I intend to make future uoload here, but there are several original logos that I could not get to finish my theme, if anyone has these logos on resolution 400x400 or more in good quality, I thanks:

You can find quite a few at GameEx.com as well as Retrobytes Portal and thegameconsole.com .

Enthusiasts sites for specific systems are also a great place to start (i.e., AtariAge for all things Atari - consoles, handheld, and pc systems).

Brands Of The World is brought up quite frequently when this topic comes up.

Have you tried some of the other themes? Some are more logo heavy than others. I make most of my own and found them through themes, the logo packs, online, etc.

Thanks for the link Brands Of The World, but it also has no logos arcade board or logos console that are missing, this site Seak Logo one also tried without success.

That's what I did to certain console, but for what was missing I use google to search, now the way is to use google, some trace in Illustrator, etc ..., had plans to finish everything by Monday But I think Can not, so I'll make up the Monday and take a break of two weeks to devote myself to another part of my Media Center (MM).

Now I'm 81 icons, the harder it are the logos of arcade boards.

You are doing well, my friend. I would not try building Rome in a single day, however. For most of what is on your list you will have to "learn" the logo you seek, then get a bit creative with either Photo Shop or GIMP to manipulate pieces into a reconstruction of the original logo as I and many others have had to do (hence why, in many cases, some opt to go for the system photos instead of the actual logo). Like you, I much prefer the original logos as they are almost as much a part of the history of the system as the systems themselves and if you end up reading some of the descriptions of the logos and their evolution for each, you may find a deeper appreciation of the system.

I have to ask one question: Do you intend to emulate them all? To avoid being overwhelmed and stressed, you may want to start with those you are already emulating and intend to in the very near future.

You're right I prefer the original logos, not just systems but even for each game in my GameEx contains a logo.

I intend to emulate nearly all, though this will take a little longer for each system that has to get to every video game, flyer, pcb, box, logo, etc. ... systems will add to the few.

Some icons I've ever done has not yet emulated systems such as x-box 360, ps3, hyper neo geo 64 (which is partially emulated), etc ... is for a future when they are emulated.

I intend to do almost all the icons of systems that can because I want to share them in my theme (and I want it to be complete), although I do not use them now, someone else can have this by emulating a system that I am not which will serve him.

Of the current systems that have emulated in my GameEx, I done all the logos, which are about ~ 50.

I understand as I have in my logo pack many that I will probably never use but others may. One thing to consider is if you are creating a custom .psd (for Phot Shop) or .xcf (for GIMP) file if you have a unique button style that accompanies your logos. That way, the users can create more as they need them.

So far around 120 icons, now who arrived Tuesday I'll have to stop this job for approximately two weeks to devote myself to something else.

Your idea is cool if I could not finish everything as I want, I can think of the possibility of having a theme along with the editable PNG (fireworks), psd (photoshop) or il (Illsutrator), the latter being my preference for an image vectored.
