Not really a gameex question, but im sure i can get an answer here

Can anyone tell me what version of mame they are using in order to have the following games working?

akkanvdr, defender, robotron, and donkeykong.

Running MAMEUI64 0.141 with u1 compiled. No problems with any of my roms for those games.

Vanilla MAME here (custom compiled of course) 0.141 and 3 of these titles I can say work perfectly.

Odd im using 0.141.u2 and akkanvader or akkenbeder doesnt show in the list of roms even though i have the romin the rom dir, and over 10000 show up dont suppose you could post yours ( mame ) for me to download?

I could only thing is I use 2 and they both are optimized,one for my gaming machine (3.6 p4 32bit) and the other for my everyday PC (3.2 i5 64bit)

what are your processor specs and OS? I will compile for you if you want...

Today, I'm taking a look at one of them, Taito's Akkanvader from 1995. It's colorful, cute, and best of all, fun!

Ive downloaded ui 141u2 from your link it shows 10243 roms available but still no akkanbedder or akkenvader shown ?? its shows ajax then onto al capone no ak... so im stumped as to what im doing wrong???

my specs are..

GameEx: Version 11.55

Windows XP Operating System Version: 5.1.2600

AMD Athlon XP 1900+ running at 1.47ghz, 1534MB ram

would be nice to have a compiled version so thanks

I believe I have found the problem! For some strange reason,akkanbeder is not where you think it would be on the game list.it is under S,under space invaders 95!still havent found akkanvader though.

I did not notice this yesterday because I used the search feature,instead of going through the list.you should be all set,let me know if you still want me to compile,better yet check out Headkaze's MAME COMPILER he has made compiling so easy,there is no reason for anyone not to compile their own!Its a great program to start compiling with until you or if you dont want to learn how to compile from command line

Indeed you have sorted it, and it is where you said...odd because i can definately remember my cab gameex showing akkanbedder under A and not under space invaders 95, odd but resolved so many thanks. I will check out headkaze's site about compiling mame .

btw Ii was also called "Space Invaders '95 Attack of the Lunar Loonies" which was the english version, maybe akkenvader is the Japan version.
