HotRod and mame32

Can someone please let me know how to get the hodrod (non SE) and mame32 to work?!?!

I have searched everywhere and I can not find any clear metion of how to use it.

I know with mame you just add the "-hotrod" to the command line. Not so for mame32!!!!!

Help Please!!!!!!!!

Open up MAME32 . Click on 'Options', Then 'Default Game Properties'. Then click on the 'controller' tab (NOT the controller mapping Tab). Then on the right hand side there is something called 'default input layout'. Click on this and change it to either hotrod or hotrod SE. Then apply the changes.

The list is called "default input layout" and the only thing listed in it is "standard". Nothing else.

Thats where I thought it would be! an I missing a file (input file?) Any other suggestions?

Try extracting these files in to you "ctrlr" dir.

ctrlr.zip

That did it!!!!

For some reason those files were not in my copy of mame32.
