(That's "off" center!!! Sorry) When I run games like pac man or dig dug they are displayed somewhat off to the left of my screen. when i play full screen games like robotron they display centered fine. Any ideas? Also - most games are not using the full screen (about 80%). Any way I can get them to use more of the screen? I am using mame32. WinXP. My OS desktop displays centered and uses the whole screen. That did it!!!! For some reason those files were not in my copy of mame32. Thanks!

The list is called "default input layout" and the only thing listed in it is "standard". Nothing else. Thats where I thought it would be! an I missing a file (input file?) Any other suggestions?

Can someone please let me know how to get the hodrod (non SE) and mame32 to work?!?! I have searched everywhere and I can not find any clear metion of how to use it. I know with mame you just add the "-hotrod" to the command line. Not so for mame32!!!!! Help Please!!!!!!!!

Just about every other time I use the configuration it resets all my settings back to default!!!! Not everytime, but about every otehr time. I am launching it from the gameex console. I have 5.25. Very frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any time I want to make a change I need to re-setup all my configs!!! HELP

I get no screenshot(goes blank). I will try manually loading tonight.

It looks like the newer high res games (mame) are not working - Like simspons bowling for example. The game just will not start. Any suggestions? I am running a dual P4 3Ghz system with 1G of ram and a NVidia GeForce4 MX420, XP Media Center. I dont think its a resource issue. Is there other drivers I need? Should I use advancemame? Any settings I should change in GameEx for these type of games? Also the games are currently running off of a USB2.0 drive. These are the latest mame version roms. When I run it the screen goes blank(montior acutally goes into sleep mode) until I press esc. Other high res games do the same. Thanks again!!!!! Ernie

Just loaded GamEx up and I am loving it so far!! couple of questions - 1 - How do I get scanlines to work automatically? I know that when I used arcade@home it would automatically set the scanlines in the most games but it would also not set scanlines to work in games that did not normally have them (like asteroids). I know that you can manually change the config file for each game and set your scan references - but what a pain! I know that arcade@home did this automatically for me!! When I add the command line " -scanline -nohwstretch" to the gameex options I do get the scanlines in games but the games like asteroids now do not work. 2 - Every time I run the GameEx config program(s) it resets all the settings back to default for me! How can i correct this? Thanks all!!!!! I will be posting a pic of my cab and making a donation soon!!!!!! Ernie
