Windows 7 and explorer

I have Gameex setup under windows 7 and shelled in my cab, the problem I am having is when I had it under win xp I had explorer set up as an App so I could add music etc.

Under windows 7 when I run explorer as an app it shows the explorer window for a couple of seconds and then goes back to Gameex by itself.

Any ideas Thanks

Are you running InstantSheller and is GameEX set to Hide OS?

yes and yes

but it was the same under xp and that works fine, its only under windows 7 that I have the problem

edit: just changed hide operating system to not hide it and still does the same thing.

also tried an unshelled version and same thing
