Hello,

A while back I couldn't get gamex to run. I posted a log and had someone tell me it's because I used a tiny xp version of windows. So... long story short, I had no real xp disk as it came on the computer with no recovery disk, I put tiny xp on it and it didn't work with gamex. So fast forward a few weeks, I got a new hard drive, purchased a copy of xp and installed it, updated etc. and now gamex still wont start. I will post a log, and hopefully someone can can help... I am so upset, I purchased gamex and another legit copy of xp and it still won't work.

What in the world is going on? It looks to me like directx is the problem, I have messed about and tried installing it 4 times with no luck.

Looks like the correct video card drivers are not installed. What is the card and do you have the latest ATI/NVidia etc drivers installed? If its a new OS install maybe there not installed?

It's onboard video as far as I know, I'll check into it when I get a free moment. Thanks, I'll let you know if that was the problem or not.

EDIT: It may be a few days, as I am in the middle of moving. I'll let you know what I find out once I try that.
