How about some success stories here? Or interesting usage or environments where used?

Well i really didnt need a frontend on my pc the only emulater i run is mame .and i could just run it from it self, but i like all the features on GameEx it was very easy to configure , i also like the layout more then most frontends , i wish you good luck with everything and it can only get better. -tommy-

Works great for me. Tom will tell you I haven't had any problems that I haven't been able to figure out for the most part on my own, most of my posts are suggestions for features I would like to see (some form of simple skinning is my big one).

I also post to try and help newbz figure out how all this crazy emulation stuff and frontends work. I have been a DIY arcade_cabinet-to-PC gamer for 5 years already, so I have some decent knowledge stored up.

This is a great frontend Tom, keep it up.

I love GameEx. I looked at several different frontends and most were really a bit overwhelming for a newbie like me. GameEx is was really easy for me to get running and does everything I wanted it to and more. Most of the problems I've had are more likely than not operator related. :)

I've not had one problem at all with GameEx, other than self-inflicted ones (messing around trying to get other emulators to work, doing my own themes etc).

GameEx is awesome.

Yeah, other than my MAME as a screensaver problem, I dont have a single issue with GameEx. I do kinda wish it supported vertical monitors, but thats not a 'problem' with the frontend.

As soon as GameEx loads up, I can use joypad to do whatever I want, and I love that.
