Hi all,

Happy new year and I hope your not too bummed out about getting back to your jobs (that is if you had time off).

Once in a while someone discovers GameEx and turns out to be a great asset and generally cool person.

In recognition of this I have promoted Draco (Draco1962) to an Elite member just so folks know he belongs with the mods and elite here on the forums.

I discovered while working on the GameBase stuff and I thought it was a nice find.

Wow! I have to admit this was totally unexpected! Thanks for the props, Tom! My 20-sumpin's will be glad to hear that someone thinks I am "cool" other than myself! ;) I hope I don't dissappoint!

P.S. Is my decoder ring in the mail?

Oh yeah, it's "Be sure to drink your GameEx", my fault! That was my *other* decoder ring! I still remember when I first unscrambled that message. I was like "A crummy advertisement? Son of a bitch!"

OK, we've determined that Elite Members do NOT get a decoder ring. Do they get increased upload allowances so they don't have to go back through previous posts and delete old uploads so they can send newer ones? I could use some Ovaltine right about now, wonder how it would taste with a shot of Crown?

I apologise, I rushed through the pomotions slightly. I have had Flu so forgive me but there are two others I have decided to promote to Elite Status in order to show recognition here.

As I should have done! - I would like to announce that IMBerzerk and Celly are joining the Elite and Mods here. Sorry I screwed up initially but Ive put what rightfully should be done now. Thank you guys. This really does not give you what you deserve and there is no decoder ring but its a humble step I can take.
