I have gone into the Weather application and set up a single location (Whittier, CA), and everything is working correctly from within the Weather application itself.

However, the weather icon that shows outside of the application is always showing a temperature from some other location. I'm pretty sure it's not 36 degrees in CA :) Any ideas?

Make sure when you select your location that the Centigrade check box is not checked. I also used my zip code to search more accurately for the location. My guess is that it is using a cookie stored somewhere on the PC - perhaps Tom can shed some light as to where we should look in the event the cookie needs to be deleted if it is not being properly overwritten or, in the event that the cookie is being deleted. I know that the MCE weather app uses cookies stored on the PC to save location data.

That's because they are 2 different apps. To change the location for the weather that shows on the main screen, you need to select your location which is found in the Weather ICON Settings in Setup Wizard. Can also access the settings from Start >>> All Programs >>> GameEx >>> Configuration >>> Weather.

Not sure if that's what you meant by saying you went into the Weather application, however I'm gonna assume so since that's the same temperature that was showing for my setup as well before I made the change to my city.
