After years of running my gaming system on an old machine, I am finally moving it all to a newer system.

AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 4200+

2GB Ram

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

What emulators run the best under the Windows 7 64 bit Operating System?

Just about any of them will run very well. I guess the question is - What do you want to emulate? Below are a few I use or have tinkered with:

Arcade

- MAME (I run MAMEUI64 for 64-bit Windows)

- WinKawaks - CPS / Neo-Geo emulator

- Daphne - Laser Disc emulator (Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, etc.)

Pinball

- Future Pinball

- Virtual Pinball/PinMAME

Console

- Project 64 - Nintendo 64 emu

- Dolphin - Nintendo GameCube and Wii emu

- M.E.S.S. - Emulates multiple systems including early Atari consoles

Draco,

I'm running windows 64 bit too. Do you have any Light Guns attached? I haven't been able to configure them with MAME64.

I do not as of yet - what light guns are you using?

Act labs. It's not a windows issue as I can use them in non mame games. I just can't configure them in mame64. I'm using a 32 bit mame version for the gun games but one in particular runs slow in mame32.
