26th November, 2010 - GameEx New Pricing Structure

Software moves on and it was time for me to update the GameEx pricing structure for registrations to reflect the huge amount of time and effort spent maintaining, updating and introducing new features in GameEx whilst also modernising and keeping things fair for new and old users. This is not a bad thing, just a new thing. GameEx registration is now actually cheaper in half of the new pricing structure but a one off $25 does not fairly cover over 500 free updates in 5 years. So things have a changed a little, hopefully for the better.

Existing registered users are being looked after and anyone registered before today will still get lifetime free updates.

Interesting. This actually makes it more attractive for new users since it saves them $10! Just a thought, perhaps you might want to add a way to upgrade to lifetime at some point. Thanks for all the updates!

I try not to be too greedy and peoples attitudes are not good about paying for software but although its a lot of fun I spend a lot of time on GameEx as you all do. I also wanted to make the registered version more accesible but Im really banking on folks liking GameEx once theyve used it for a while.

Although no longer holder of #1 spot for popularity I have a few more tricks up my sleeve and I still think we basically have a solid and substantial product.

I have been using GameEx since the 6.00 days and it has always been my favorite software. I bought another lifetime license just to support the cause and always make people I show it to register their version.

If you guys like GameEx help Tom out on the holidays and buy some licenses for friends and family. It's Black Friday and what could be better than getting GameEx for the first time?

It has really progressed through the years and looks like it will continue to amaze us so think of it as an investment with a guaranteed high return.

IMHO If they had of pinned the earlier poll then it would still be No. 1. I have no idea why they created a new poll when there was one already.
