[OT] Why I love GameEX

(For-warning im not a good writer so here it goes)

Im 27 & realized that me and several dozen of my friends dont find videogames as fun as it use to be. Taking a trip into my memories I realised that back in the old days , we speant more time at the arcade than sitting at home infront of a T.V. With college done about 4 years ago at the starting point of the economy collapse I finally got a good career going in order to support myself . Selling & dumping old stuff to keep it lightweight so I move into my new place, I stood infront of my drawer cabinet getting ready to haul it to the dump (Ive had since 1995) & realised right there and then that this could be an arcade machine. No harm in taking a few pieces apart I discovered that the drawer was also the few remaining furniture pieces that was pure wood in my home with no rot.( none of that recycled wood you get these days ).

OK, so I finally got around to making a video of my updated system. Now running Windows 7. Still going with the Brokeh theme. I'm also using a SSD for some noticeable menu and application transition speediness. GameEx has only gotten better since I last posted a video, and this a yet another reason why I love it!

Warms the cockles of my heart to see my theme in use and enjoyed! The transition from WMC to GameEx is almost seemless with the theme.

Have you looked at the last logo pack I compiled? I really think it would set off the Brokeh Theme nicely. Of course, I am compiling yet another logo pack with the option to select from straight system logos or the system logos with console images and that will be my swan song for quite a while for logos.
