ok so when I try to play HD video thru gameex it seems as if gameex is struggling to play these files,what I mean is when playing HD video only,its slow,the sound crackles,and the video always slows to the point of being nonwatchable.but this only occurs with HD video,as my regular non HD videos play just fine.these HD videos play just fine on windows media player.also when browsing non HD video's in gameex the box art and previews pop up almost instantly,but when browsing HD video it takes a eternity to show the box art and preview,if they show at all.just wondering if this happens to anyone else

It may be the browsing that is causing the issue. I did add an option to turn off live previews for HD and DVD and for new installs its off by default now. Perhaps try setting that.

Probably a codec issue. GameEx recommends Shark007 codecs.

Yeah, I know they play in windows just fine... :P

I have the k-lite codec's installed.maybe I will try shark's.....

I did do that Tom,no luck.

UPDATE:the shark codec's worked.thanks Tempest
