This has been discussed many times so I'll point you in the direction of the posts I found using search. Here, here, and here are the first ones that jump to mind. There are links from those threads that link to other lists as well. Pretty much the emulators that there are configs to import from within the GameEx install are considered the best/suggested emulators.

And quoting myself from one of those topics:

Can also click on my signature. I have a list that will be frequently updated with suggested emulators for that system and their command-line. Best place to look is emulator sites since that's what their dedicated to. Lots of them out there with emulators that have been voted on and tested by the emulation community. I would start there first.
