Demul .56 Full Screen and GameEX

I want to run Demul full screen from GameEX...not sure how to set it up. It does have command Line support now.

Yes it does! But there isn't a fullscreen parameter. The best solution would be to just use send keys to send Alt+Enter.

Edit: just tried Alt + Enter that didn't work. Is that what sets it to Full Screen?

Can you load some type of simple script that load to press them keys with Gameex config?

A script could be used but isn't required. Simply just put %{ENTER} in the Keys To Send setting in the Emulator Setup section of configuration. May have to tinker with the Wait Before Keys setting, depending on your system.

umm def not working....The game comes on in a window and I see nothing happen. I did add the "%{ENTER}" in the send key section..I did not specify milliseconds before sending though. I can't even test this outside of GameEX just loading the Emulator.(shouldn't I be able to?)

Testing out of GameEx should work. Load your rom and then hit ALT+Enter. Meaning hold the alt key and press enter.

I'm also using an X-Arcade stick with NUM on for 1st player...you think that might be causing issues?

I don't see why that would cause issues. I'd have to test that for myself. Will plug in my x-arcade later to test for you but won't be able to do that till much later. Go to chat room!

ummm well I have my screen resolution on max 1920 x 1200 so I'm guessing this does not stretch? to fill the screen. I only had it on 1024 X 768 in the Demul on full screen settings.

On another note:

1. What's the best way to port GameEX, I just built my Win7 MAME machine and have to port GameEX to it. I don't feel like setting everything up again. All my roms..etc are set for C: Root.

Do I have to install GameEX to register with Windows XP or can I just copy it over?

2. I have yet to get Laserdisc working..I would like to create a custom Menu on this new system and add all the Arcade Emus on the start page and Consoles under Console Emulators.

Should I setup everything first then use that Custom Menu program? How does it know where everything is located?

3. Is there a good tutorial on the Custom Menu? I just want the Arcade stuff on the start page , that's it really. I wish there was a yes or no when setting up the Emus in GameEX that asked "Show on start page". Yes or No

Make sure %{ENTER} is in quotes or as fRequEnCy has it printed above exactly ( copy and paste ) also I had to set wait before keys ( the line above keys to send ) for 4000 ms for Atomiswave and 10000 ms for Naomi or it would work or I'd have Bsod . If these numbers don't work well for you , try adjusting them as each machine runs slightly different . I have my screen set at 1920x1080 and it works great . I also have an X-Arcade with Num set and there isn't any issue's with my setup . - Good Luck .
