@Draco1962 I dont know if this means anything to you. I read on the developers GitHub that it only supports absolute paths only.

@Draco1962 Also some games have more than one xbe file in the directory.

Does anyone know the proper command line for CXBX Reloaded? I"ve tried launching it several different ways and it doesn't seem to work. If anyone knows the answer it would be greatly appreciated. Please and thank you.

I understand what you are saying, Tom. I've run Dolphin from that drive for a long time without issue until now. You are right, I didn't catch that they were set up for different paths. A while back I updated Dolphin and it changed the folder. I must have done it for Wii and either not done it for Gamecube, or I just flubbed it. Thank you very much for your help. Sorry to waste your time.

It is working outside. I can't get GameEx to list the extracted copy.

The same thing happened to me except after the 3rd time I downloaded a new the setup and installed it that way. I knew to do that because it's happened to me before. Hopefully, you can get it fixed. Good luck to you, I wish I had some good advice for you. It doesn't help now, but I always do a backup before I do an update, just in case.

I was hoping the update would fix it, but it hasn't...

I haven't used my PC for a while. Everything was working correctly before. I tried to run a Gamecube game today. The screen flashed white, then went to black for a few seconds and returns to GameEx. Thank you very much Tom! It was the fact that the files were in the root. I moved them to a folder on the drive and everything works well now.

Hi Tom, Thanks for getting back to me. I am a registered user. How do I take a screenshot within GameEx? They come out all black whith win key + Print. The zip support does work for a couple of other emulators that I have already.

I forgot to mention that when going into the game list, it does list everything, but with the drive letter in the rom name. When going into the info page it just lists the drive letter and rom name greyed out instead of the play this game option.

I have everything else configured and working, but for some reason I have never gotten this to work. Also if it matters, its on a USB drive. I had the roms on 2 different drives before and moved them to a single drive. It didn't work before either. GameEx also lists the drive letter before the rom name as well. I started from scratch with Mame and its working fine now. Thanks again Tom.

Ditto, I trust what you told me. I didn't know if that info would help any.

To clarify, When launching GameEx on its own Mame would error me out of GameEx during launch. After task killing Mame (0.173) at the time, I could then click on GameEx which was open in the taskbar. GameEx was running correctly and I could launch Mame just fine. Never had any more issues until 0.174 and GameEx update. I did them both the same day.

Yeah I looked at it after you said that. Kinda weird. It was working fine before the update. There was a problem I had before the update though. I had forgotten it. When launching GameEx Mame (Mame 0.173) would knock me out of GameEx with several errors like "unknown system" ect. I had to task kill Mame and then it worked fine until now. Not sure if that means anything to you. Thanks a lot anyway.
