New install, error on start

Hi everybody,

Well i thought i would give GameEx a try before i look at buying, but im having some trouble getting it to work.

I did a fresh install on my recently formatted laptop running tinyxp

The first time i went to run the program it didnt open and just gave an error log.

If anyone has any suggestion on how to get the program it would be appreciated as i wouldnt mind giving this a try.

Looks like a problem with a database. If this is a new install, are you running a cut down copy of Windows? There are certain components of Windows that often get cut out of those versions that GameEx requires.

I dont think GameEx works on the regular tinxp, as it excludes database components.

"tinyxp" was so tiny that I missed that in the original post.

So can i just download the files that i need, or do i need to do a whole new xp install?

Basically lite installs rip those dependencies right out completely of windows if core so normally a new install is required.
