Having problems showing 2 players version of some games

Hi all!!!

I'm having problems showing all my Mame games in GameEx.

I have some games like (The Simpsons or Sunset Riders) that have a version for 4 players and another version for 2 players. The difference is only that in the 2 players version you can select your character, and in the 4 players you can only play with the first character.

GameEx is not showing my 2 players version games, only show the 4 players version.

If i play with MameUI i can see all my games (2 and 4 players version) and can play it, but GameEx filter my games.

How can i show my 2 players version of the games that have it?

In either the Setup Wizard or Advanced Configuration, go to Advanced MAME settings and make sure that Show Multiplay Games and Show 4 PLAYER Games are set to Yes.

If it's not in the list, then they are probably considered clones and you have "no clones unless better" turned on. Add the game you want to the excluded filters list and add the 4p version to the filter list. Once you rebuild your list, you should be good to go!

Actually, think this is due to the (newer) remove duplicates setting.

the problem was i had the name of that roms in the excluded filters and that names changed for other new names. That is the reason to not filter the roms in the list of excluded filter.

Now i changed the names with the new ones and work fine another time.
