[RESOLVED] Vector Games Displayed Too Large

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Gameex is a great frontend but I am having trouble with Vector games. When I start a game such as Asteroids or Battlezone in Mame32 (without using Gameex) these vector games display normally. When I launch vector games within Gameex, the games are too big for my LCD display (i.e. the peripheral parts of the game are not shown). I am using an Ultimarc ArcadeVGA graphic card and the default Gameex settings for this card in the advanced set up menu. My estimation is that I have the wrong configuration in Gameex as the vector games play normally when started directly from Mame32. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Run the game outside of GameEx via the runitgame.bat file and see if it does the same thing.

Excuse my ignorance, but could you please give more details as to where/how I should run that file? I appreciate your help. When I access the vector games directly from the Mame32 program, the vector games display perfectly.

Thanks.

Click on my signature then on the tutorial "How to ask for help". There is a section for runitgame.bat.

I apologize for not closing out this post. This was resolved with a recent upgrade for Mame32 and GameEx. Thanks for all your help.
