Video thumb previews not working?

My video thumb previews have been working but, just recently they stopped and now it just keeps showing pictures (which I did not make it automatically makes them)? And yes I have changed different view modes, themes, and other settings. So what could be the problem?

There is a setting to turn off video thumbs. Could that have been set? Do the videos still play at all?

Yes it is enabled and yes the videos still play but not the video thumbnails.

Also Im using a custom theme that I made which isn't the problem. Also it is playing the video thumb previews for videos that are like less than 2 seconds long?

Any ideas what has happened on your system since they were working? What codecs are installed? What type of videos are they?

Nothing different happened. I thought I might had done something when making my theme but, I changed the theme and it did the same thing. And I also reinstalled GameEx all together and it still didn't work.
