Tom Speirs Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Something a bit different for this release. Here is a new game card feature. You can get a game card / tag from the web site to put on any web pages, blog, or forum, and its fed from GameEx. <BR><BR>Similar to GameEx live but personalized and something you can use yourself. To setup your game card go to the web site and go to get game card under the community menu. <BR><BR><img border="0" src="http://www.gameex.com/gamecard/tspeirs.png"><BR><BR>
Ninja Rygar Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 It works! That's pretty awesome. How come mine didn't publish a screenshot though?
Ninja Rygar Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 I hope nobody minds, I'm going to put mine in my sig.
Tom Speirs Posted April 26, 2010 Author Posted April 26, 2010 Id appreciate if a few folks could test the feature, even temporarily. Id like to improve on it.Cheers.Tom.
Ninja Rygar Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Mine looks just fine. Love the new look of the card.
Robert Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 This is really a cool feature. Love it. But I am also not getting a picture. It would be cool to expand this to additional stats if possible, and maybe show your name instead of your tag.
Ninja Rygar Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 So far out of everyone who's posted their card, I have the most systems set up. SO... I win.
celly Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Dang Tempest, 130?! Jeepers. I'm having trouble with the card though. How do I "launch" it like it says in the email?
Tempest Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 When you post, use insert image (the icon two to the right of the smiley face), and insert the url from the email.I think of the 130, only 99 are actually verified as working.
celly Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Oh yeah I know how to insert the image, it just says No Data Yet is all. Do I need to do something in GameEx to enable it?
Tempest Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Sorry. Install the registry keyUpdate to the latest version of GameEx.Run GameEx, and play a game.I think that's all there is to it.
celly Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Ok, got it. Thanks Tempest. I guess I didn't see the reg file to download, just the .png of the card.
