Hey guys,

I posted a this a while ago, but I could never get it working and cant find the original post.

I would like to use VLC to play DVD ISO directly without mounting them, but I cant get Gameex to pass the ISO file name to VLC. I currently have the following command line.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe [DVD]--fullscreen"

Also have external sw set to yes

But I believe that only passes the folder name and not the filename (ie dvdname.iso)

What should I be using?

Im not sure on the command but if using DVDs on disk I can tell you that GameEx mounts the ISO and will send the drive letter of the mounted ISO. You need the ISO software installed too.

I have found my original post, but the suggested solution was to use [DVD] which I am currently doing. I have also noticed that gameex doesnt seem to be logging DVD play back.

Also that command looks wrong. Im guessing this will be correct:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" [DVD] --fullscreen

Hehehe, can I offer that as a possible feature request? :D

For now I can mount them, but seems silly to mount something when its not required... ;)
