Tom... how does GameEx close emulators?

Tom, maybe you can help me out here. Im wondering how you use the "map keys" option to close out an emulator.

There is another frontend that shall remain nameless that I've been messing around with for another project that uses an AHK script to quit out of emulators. But the way it quits, it forces it to close before it can save files to the hard drive. This means that you can't save game progress when playing an emulator that you can't remap the quit key on.

For example visualboyadvance can't have the quit key remapped to anything. So when you quit the program with the AHK script, files aren't written to. So no final fantasy VI advance for me

Any ideas?

Let me get this straight you're asking Tom how to help you get your games working in another FE? No offense but this is a GameEx forum and we are here to support GameEx users. Sorry but you should ask this question on the forum of the FE you're trying to get it to work on.
