sorry for the late feedback but i had a busy week so i didn't get around to it before. I tried the configs, but no results unfortunately. My personal opinion remains that this isn't a mame-issue, but probably a weird windows-bug since i have the same problem with street fighter IV(and perhaps more programs i don't know about yet). I wouldn't be surprised if someday with some random update, things work again. fwiw, i don't mind continuing with the issue but in the meanwhile i have remapped everything in a way the issue is no longer for me. Meaning i don't use 2 or 4 anywhere anymore. Your call

I'm a little slow sometimes. If you have it working simply by not using those two keys, then I agree, what I did wouldn't help. Sorry if I wasted your time.
