Hi All,

I've been using GameEx for a few months now and so far so good i have my emulators set up and snap files working ok.

I would now like to add to the art work with box scans and the like but i cant get them to show.

At the moment i have a few scans for the Atari 2600 i have placed them in separate folders and told GameEx the path to the folder yet i dont see them when

in GameEx i have looked within set up and cant find an on button.

so the question is what am i doing wrong.

This is probably a file name issue. GameEx can either check for the exact file name or use a best match algorithm. If the file names are too far off, the best match won't even help. If this is your issue, you might want to try FatMatch (search this forum) or one of the other available programs.

Hi bkenobi,

The scans are already named with FatMatch so that should not be an issue, the only thing i can think of is the actual theme im using "ACIDBRAIN"

What file extension? I have not been able to get GIF files to work. I don't know if it is a codec issue or not supported by GameEx. I convert them to PNG. You can use a utility like IrfanView to do this.

Thanks wahoo,

For some reason i had converted it to.BMP, converting them to .PNG works a treat thank you :)
