Hello all,

This may seem like a stupid question but I can't figure out how to make GameEx launch on windows startup. I have been through the advanced config a dozen times and I haven't found an option. I'm using windows xp sp3.

Also, I am trying to launch a universal pause program (thanks to whoever linked me to it) in the launch on startup box, I set it so the program, pause.exe. However on launch gameex crashes with the error "file not found" I have tried moving the program around to different directories with no results.

Thanks!

O and my cabinet is finished, I will post pictures of my GameEx theme and cabinet later today.

to make it run at startup just make a shortcut of the gameex exe and put it in startmenu/programs/startup

You can also use Instant Sheller found at GameEx.com. It will allow you to change your boot screen, and a cople of other things as well.

Thanks to the person who linked you to it, what about the guy who wrote it! tongue.gif

Most likely, you are browsing to the program from the advanced config, and for some silly reason, it only enters the pause.exe, and not the full path. You will need to use the path. IE: C:\WheredidIputit\Pause.exe. You may also have to put quotes around it if there are spaces in the path.

Your Welcome!

There is a stickied thread for "Cabinets running Gameex", you may want to put your images there so people can find them easier.
