snaps disappear?

i have a strange problem, about a week ago game ex would crash on startup so i uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version, i them set up everything again and all seemed to be working but when going through the mame games menu or my favorites menu the first game the snap will show up but on the second game scrolling down would not? but then going back to the first noe that has no snap anymore, its kind of ramdom what shows and what doesnot, also i am using the tron theme and when using the wizard to setup i can select tron as a theme and it works but going into the advanced config on game-ex tron and othe non default themes dont show up to select? i am going nuts with this one HELP!

I haven't seen this myself, but if something is broken, a log file would help.

Perhaps related, perhaps not... Recently my cab hasn't been displaying the videos immediately like it used to. When I scroll through the list, I have to hover on a game for a couple seconds before the video will start. As I recall, it used to immediately display the video, so it appears a setting must have been changed somehow (although I didn't do it). I have done NO investigating as of yet, so this is simply an observation.

i figured it out, it was the resolution game-ex was running at, i had everything at 640x480 and it was the larger snaps would not fit at that resolution under the text so it would not display so i set gameex to 800x600 and it all works
