HELP: annoying work offline message

Hey guys, can anyone help me out with this?

Whenever gameex is running after a few minutes I get a popup asking if i want to work offline or try again. It only occurs when gameex is running so im guessing gameex is trying to access the internet (my cab is never connected to the net). I tried looking through the advanced config but i might be missing a feature that accesses the internet for something.

Does anyone have any suggestions to stop gameex from accessing the internet?

There is an auto update option in GameEx so maybe it is likely trying to connect.

In the Enable/Disable Features section of the Configuration try setting "Enable Auto GameEx Updates" to "Disable Automatic Updates"

It could be for the weather or other web stuff too. I have all of that stuff turned off and don't get the messages (of course I'm connected, so I guess I wouldn't ).

It sounds to me like some other program is interfering. Ive never heard of windows alone doing that. What program is producing the message?

Two things to look for, is there an antivirus program looking to connect to internet for update ( turn off autoupdate) or do you have a networked drive set up ( disable auto connect at logon)..

Could be the sign of virus or trojan in the background.
