X-arcade dual

I have everything working great gameex,titles,etc... controller works in gameex great although when i play a game the stick doesn't work it tracks right but all the other buttons work i've tried the x-arcade test program and all of the buttons are fine sticks and all had the same issue in the gameex as well can't remember what i did to change but it worked. I'm new to frontends and need help don't know alot about them i've always used mame32 v. .99 and knew that how to set controller for each game kind of a pain but it worked i've tried switching funtions on the x-arcade controller but same thing i do have the unregistered version does this matter?Noticed in mame emu conf. some options are locked.Again hopefully someone has had the same problem or know how to fix.Thankx

The easiest way is to modify the mame command line in the setup wizard or advanced config app (advanced mame settings) and add:

-ctrlr xarcade

Think I got the syntax right.

I went to the Advanced mame settings not sure were to place -ctrlr xarcade.Noticed theres a Mame options slot which states (-nowindow-joy-skip_gameinfo )theres also a slot lower on the screen which states Advancemame.I wasn't able to read any of the tutorials nor manuals didn't have the programs to open them.Like i stated i have everything running perfect Gameex and mame.Just can't get the controlls right not sure what to do from here placed -ctrlr xarcade in the mame option box (-nowindow-joy-skip_gameinfo-ctrlr xarcade)then ran gameex then mame nothing it didn't run.Any ideas?

You have it in the correct location. There may need to be spaces between the commands.

-nowindow -joy -skip_gameinfo -ctrlr xarcade

Do you have a file named xarcade.cfg in your Mame\ctrlr folder?

I fixed er, just thru it in and presto thanks for the tips everyone!
