This is a cool find Cupid! It dosent quite work properly for me though. When I start GameEx it starts off full screen but then changes to about quarter of the screen (Bottom left). Not sure why that is.

Anyone got any ideas or am I doing something stupid again?

How exactly do you use this in GameEx? Should it have a special name or is there just a search path in Configuration?

emphatic: It's supposed to be played at the start of GameEx. Just set the full path to the AVI with the StartupVideo= option.

Wow. That was cool. I guess I have to change that startup music though. Doesn't sound Arcade at all to me, more like something from the friggin' history channel.

I got full screen. I run 1280x960 resolution in GameEx, because I have a PC screen for now. If that helps. Try different resolutions. Perhaps it's a resolution thing?

I dont think it is a resolution problem. I have tried a few others but get the same results (with slightly smaller or larger images in the bottom-left corner). I have also tried one of the video game commercials as a start-up video and I get the same results. These videos always play full screen when played within GameEx.

So I am at a loss as to why this isnt working.

Does anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong.

don't worry.. that's ridiculous, and was way over the top the first time i see it. (not to mention, GameEx is much more than MAME launcher for me )
