I have some quick questions regarding Gameex's behaviour.

I wish to reorder all my emulators alphabetically via the setup wizard -- I realise that there is little benefit to that since they show up alphabetically in Gameex itself -- but for cosmetic reasons I'd like to have my more or less finalized list of emulators to be alphabetical in the advanced configuration program. However, I'm nervous to actually do it, as I'm not quite sure how the custom menus work. Are the emulators in the custom menus "seen" by their names or their numbers? If it is the latter, I suspect alphabeticizing my emulators would completely mess up my custom menus -- hence my reluctance to do it.

Also, I want to do a somewhat complicated setup for Saturn. SSF is the best emulator around hands down for that. Unfortunately it doesn't detect regions, so I'm thinking in order to have all regions available I should set up SSF three times as three emulators (one US, one Japan, one Europe) to cover all the regions. Then combine them all together using an emulator group. That should work well and look seamless. However, I'm completely obsessed with "merged" sets and would rather not have everything listed in the games list. I doubt the new merge feature would work in an emulator group setup as I have described above. Am I correct in thinking that? If I am correct is there any chance that the new merge feature could be extended to emulator groups (should be simple to implement I imagine).

Thanks

You can easily reorder your emulators with the Setup Wizard. You just hit the up and down arrows for each one. There is also a single button that you can press that will alphabetize them. I don't know if this will automatically update your custom menus or not, but that is DEFINITELY a valid question that needs to be answered. I hadn't considered that, but unless Tom has addressed this, then things will be AFU if you don't manually fix them in the Custom Menu Editor.

I don't use grouped emulators nor do I use the merge feature. However, once again that is a valid question that Tom should make sure is addressed (either by saying yeah or nay as to the features working if nothing else).
