Hey all,

Noob here from Australia..!

Great product Tom, really enjoying it so far and slowly geting my head around it..

So, seems I've pretty much got GameEx up and running (v10.09) and I'm going through all the configuration settings. However, when I click (select) 'Audio Setting', GameEx will just hang / no response. No log file generated, nothing..

No idea what Audio Setting is for (can't get into it ;)) but as above, consistently crashes.

Also, another issue which I'll mention.. When loading Jukebox it does its 'search' and gets no where.. 20 minutes later noting.. CTRL-ALT-DEL shows that GameEx is not responding..

Thanks in advance..

There's another possibility... Do you have any foreign language named files in your collection? I don't mean the music itself, but the filename. On one of my machines I could never get the jukebox or media library to work at all. I discovered that removing all my Japanese mp3s from the library would make it work -- if even one was in there Gameex would die (in the manner you described). I don't know for sure if that applies to other languages as well -- but I am certain that is the case for files with Japanese filenames. Applies to videos as well. Adding just a single Japanese file back to my library will make it die.
