Any GameEx forum readers here have any experiences they can share about Dream Authentics? Everything I have read about them seems to be good from news articles to testimonials. But I am beginning to get anxious and a little bit worried. I had them start building a tricked out cab for me over two months ago, and admittedly, I wanted a lot done to it, more than I know I would have been able to do myself (thus the reason for using them). Originally it was planned to be finished early Apri, but then I wanted them to also include multi colored LED buttons so I can use GameEx's plug-in; and knew that may take a bit longer, more work, etc.; but here we are in May and I get few updates from them. A few weeks back they said end of April, last one two weeks ago said some time in May. I just want to know what experiences any of you have had with them, if any; and whether they have been good or bad. Thanks.

I got a cab from them last May,Ive been very pleased with the service,It took about two months before I got my cab.

Looking back the Only thing I didnt like was there cheap ass controlers,I put magsticks in later.

depending on what how you customized you should be pleased.

They have pictures of my cab in there gallery(excalibur) the one with the blue flames and flaming skull.

(sorry for the horrrible spelling).

You can get new key mechanisms from your local box store (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) or hardware store. The type of locks used on arcades is pretty standard, so you should be able to find something. Just be sure the key codes match on the different locks or you will need a bunch of different keys to open everything!

All uk cabinets tend to use barrel locks with the key number 92250. These are a generic lock and in the uk can be bought from most locksmiths. (we call them 250's). Though I have no idea what Dream Authentics use, i suspect it will be the same.

Don't know why i pipped in on this one? LOL, but for anyone make/using a cab, these are perhaps the cheapest and most common locks.
