I recently added a bunch of tosec dreamcast gdi images to my harddrive for use in gameex. Each game has various bin and raw files that are all named generically such as track 1. So if I extract them all into the same directory it obviously won't work, since there will be so many files with the same name. I know subdirectories for roms aren't supported in gameex, but I was wondering if anybody knows of a workaround with this particular situation. I've tried tricks found on the forums here such as hard linking (crashes nulldc), having folders named exactly as the images in the rom directory and using rompath\rom\romfile (doesn't show up in gameex game list then), and using map files (crashes gameex when go to browse dreamcast games). I read a suggestion of using a wrapper but I have no idea how to make one. If anybody else uses the tosec dreamcast gdi images in gameex, could you please share how you made it work?
