I can get dolphin working but im using Macro's scripts to do it all via mouse clicks which is fine but not the perfect answer. IS there a wrapper for dolphin or a better FE for it that allows for cmd's to be run properly.

Problem is when doing 5 to 10 games for it via macro's in fine but when you start hitting more games it gets a little hard esp is the screen res changes as the mouse coordinates don't match.

Same here. I can get it to launch dolphin but then i have to resort to clicking on a game with the mouse. I've also tried every possible commandline switch I can think of but none of them ever booted a game automatically.

I cant say for sure. I have a similar rig and it is not powerful enough to play some games. But Id go for it.

Not sure if a wrapper was ever released. I've tried Dolphin out recently and was surprised how far along it has come. It's actually playable now. Any working configs within GE yet?

Damn, that was fast, Tempest.

I'll give it a whirl tomorrow.

I tried it out and I still only get it to launch into Dolphin. The selection has to be made manually.

This is my abridged config:

[Emulator_13]

Enabled=True

STARTPAGENAME=GameCube Wii

TITLETEXT=GameCube Wii

StartPageLogo=GameCube

ROMFilter=*.gcm;*.iso;

RomsInFolders=False

RomPath=D:\Emulators and Games\GAMECUBE ISOS

SnapPath=D:\Emulators and Games\GAME EX SNAPS\GCWIISNAPS

WorkingPath=D:\Emulators and Games\GAMECUBE\3777

Command=DolphinLoader.Exe "[RomFile]"

configFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close)

DATABASE=[Console] Nintendo GameCube

Try this one.

Also I had problems with some characters such as {} in the filename. I can fix it if I know what characters are causing problems, so If you find that some files work, and others don't, please post the names that don't work.

Okay this next one goes one step more and opens up the open window but it still needs a click to start the emulation. The name is already in the address box but it needs like a confirmation or an extra click on the open or run command. Then to exit out I have to stop the emulator and exit the loader from the sys tray, which I use mouse hotkeys for.

I'm using Dolphin 3661. Judging from your config, maybe you are using 3777? If so, can you provide me with a link to that version?

SUCCESS TEMPEST! Works great. Loads fast and exits back to gameex no problem. Thanks for all your patience. :)

No, thank you for YOUR patience. Glad you got it going...

I only today just setup Dolphin on my cabinet, and I didn't even realise that there are emulators that don't have command line loading options. I didn't know what a wrapper was.

So this was perfect timing and seems to work a treat. I'm midway through getting every "working" Gamecube title, and so far it is all working a treat. I'm glad I bought the fastest PC I could afford when making the cabinet, which was not initially with emulators in mind.

Now, where do I get the usual snaps, boxes, etc...
