NeoGeo List nearly empty

I have the NeoGeo list turned on in the Advanced MAME settings. In the past I know this contained a couple hundred games or so, but when I looked today I'm only seeing 3 games. I'm running MAME 0.130 currently. I haven't looked at this list in a while, so I don't know when it stopped working. Is it my config, or is this something other people are experiencing? I'm thinking this could have happened a few MAME revs ago when they changed all the NeoGeo stuff around? Not sure, but I'm open to suggestions.

Btw, this new mameemumap.ini is AWESOME!

Im seeing none, but it looks to me like there not verifiying so Im guessing MAME changed some things around, and new roms/bios are required. Does not look like it needs an update to GameEx.

Hmmm, I updated things in MAME and they all seem to work. I see them in the main list, just not in the Neo Geo list. Odd...

Works for me with .130 if I turn off verify. Are you using vanilla .130?

MAME 0.130 vanilla custom compiled to add in hiscore, CPWizard Bezels, disabled RAW inputs. I should check if I have verify turned on or not. Thanks for the suggestion!

IT shouldnt be a factor if there showing in the main list. I only turned it off here as my collection is not up to date hence wont work with .130. Im not really sure whats going on, just saying it works for me.

I just tested to verify. I have 234 Neo-Geo roms listed. Also running MAME 0.130.

I turned off the verify option last night and rebuilt the list. Everything seems to show up now.

Hey. I seem to be having the same problem though I havent fixed it yet, been using mame for years but now neo geo games eg samurai shodown appear in the all games list only but run fine so why are they not showing in available? Using Mameui32 0.1302.

Help!

Edit: My Bad, I see what you mean about verify Roms off, this has fixed the problem in Game Ex.

There's another thread where they are talking about Magic Drop II and III. Apparently the problem is with MAME and is fixed in 0.130u2. I haven't tried it, so I can't verify this.

Same problem here.....

Only showing 3 NeoGeo Games but i have them all!!!!

I'ts strange because if i do an "update list" and go to the Neo-geo section just after, i can see all my games (those with text in bracket etc, whenever it's specified to not show them in the config) and i'm able to play them all

But if i quit and restart gameex, then only 3 games are displayed

Verify ROM off doesn't seems to fix the problem for me.

I think it's a problem with filtering roms but i don't know how to fix that....

Hey guys,

I use vanilla self compiled mame through gameex and Mameui or mameplus if I'm just testing stuff in Mame.

When I updated my set to 0.129 I found that Mameui was marking all of the neogeo roms as not working... But the do work fine.

I just had to fire them up through the "all games" list instead of the "available" list.

I only checked on a few places online but seem to remember a "fixed" neogeo bios for mameui... probably unofficial. I didnt follow up any further though because like I said... the games do play fine for me.

Nope, it's not the bios, said correct in clrmamepro, and the pb was with 0.128

EDIT: I think you're right in fact, neogeo bios has changed with 0.130u1, have to try the new one because i can play games but they are not in the lists

My neogeo.zip was missing 3 files

neo-epo.bin

neo-debug.bin

neo-po.bin

Now i've found them and it works, neogeo.zip is not missing files
