  1. Hey dung thats not what i mean but thanks anyway
  2. Hello again Tom thanks for your continual work on this snazzy program, I use it mainly for music playback at parties like saturday night there after we cuffed macedonia I get most of my music from juno download and each one is individually tagged with its own album art, short of placing each and every file in its own directory with a folder.jpg can gameex display an individual mp3's artwork like winamp/wmp/mediamonkey etc can? Ta
  3. Good man Tom thanks for adding the larger thumbnail support, this should take my TV jukebox one step closer to reality!
  4. Good man! Sorry if I'm moaning, just feel the media side is falling behind compared to the mame side which is undoubtedly excellent. Here's what Im thinking for a lcd tv setup. Three album covers side by side onscreen at any one time, the middle one being 'active'. Pushing left or right scrolls through the album covers with a bold font description below the currently active album. Selecting an album shows all the album tracks in an identical format, three to a screen with the usual clear and queue all & add all to queue dialogs. I've attached a quick image to roughly illustrate the idea. A larger Now Playing screen in the bottom left corner would also be excellent. All in all the design exists already really, I'm just thinking on a bigger more TV friendly scale. What do you reckon Tom? Cheers
  5. Yeah Tom its fine if Im running off my laptop only but hooked through my tv the thumbnails are too small to be legible from the couch, any option to make them bigger? Cheers man
  6. For my movies collection I use the library feature (registered) with folder.jpg to display the cover. Some googling for a decent image is all it takes for that, but running off a 40 inch LCD TV the whole multimedia setup is really basic and dated looking. A side scrolling album cover based system for me is the way forward with regards to audio/video, c'mon Tom get the finger out
  7. Hey Tom, might just be my opinion but how about giving the multimedia side of gameex an overhaul? It seems there is ongoing microsurgery on trivial mame issues but the multimedia side of game ex is largely ignored. A friend of mine runs the xbmc media center and I have to grudgingly admit it looks and works brilliantly for audio/video collections, any plans for a flashier design sometime soon? Cheers
  8. Hi Tom, I downloaded some cool visualizations for media player, but they dont appear to work within gameex jukebox, I just get a black screen. Anyhting you can suggest?
  9. The problem isnt fixed in 130u2 because thats what I've been running for the last week. I'm having to use the less than ideal verify roms 'no' option in game ex to play samurai shodown etc..
  10. Hey. I seem to be having the same problem though I havent fixed it yet, been using mame for years but now neo geo games eg samurai shodown appear in the all games list only but run fine so why are they not showing in available? Using Mameui32 0.1302. Help! Edit: My Bad, I see what you mean about verify Roms off, this has fixed the problem in Game Ex.
  11. Ok Tom will do thanks, Im allegedly at work just now but I'll post my log when I get in
  12. Thanks for the quick reply man. Not been using it much for mame, more for films and yes I am using the video preview option (no sound). All my movies are xvid and I do all my own coding so I'm pretty confident with that side of it, never had a problem with gameex in two years so I dont know whats happened now, weird.
  13. Hey y'all, never had any problems before the last major update but now im finding game ex freezes on a pretty regular basis when navigating through the menus, I'm hoping someone else has had this problem too? Cheers
  14. The library update allowing folders to be played solved my 'play album' request thanks very much Tom I'm a well chuffed registered user, cant wait to show off now!
  15. I'm one of those guys that just wants things to work without any messing about so when I got my dual x-arcade last year this is what I did. 1. Download mame plus from x arcade's website, it comes with the x arcade layout as a default selection from the controller options. 2. Open up game ex advanced config and make sure under input you have 'enable joysticks' and also 'use all attached devices'. 3. That worked for me without any messing about and I've updated game ex and mame plus consistently since. Hope that helps.
