Ok here's the problem I'm having. I got ePSXe working fine, I only have 2 roms for it, Tales of Destiny and Final Fantasy Tactics -- the tales of destiny rom is a single .bin file, the final fantasy tactics rom is 3 files with .img .ccd and .sub -- both games work from ePSXe just fine using "File->Run ISO".

However, within GameEx, when I setup the ePSXe I can only get it to list *.img files in the ROM Filter, if I change it too *.img;*.bin then I get only 1 entry showing up, named "-Emu-" that when clicked on tries to run ePSXe and then crashes ePSXe and reverts back to GameEx. Listing *.img works just fine, and FF Tactics appears in the list, but putting *.bin in the ROM Filter box results in Tales of Destiny not showing up and the previous problem of an entry named "-Emu-" appearing again. Finally I tried just putting *.* in the ROM Filters thinking I could just manually remove the .sub and .ccd files from the list, but that didn't work either, when I tried that, it resulted in the same previous "-Emu-" entry only appearing.

Any thoughts on how to get both games to show up? I have the registered version, and I included the relevant section (I think) from GameEx.ini below. Oh, and all other rom filters with other emulators work too. Like *.n64;*.z64 for N64 emu.

I had the same problem just recently. I had gameex set up nice but ended up giving that PC to one of my nieces.

But back to the problem, i've just restarted setting gameex up on a diff PC and had this problem. It's the "-loadbin" i'll get back to you later on what i used but i think it was "-loadimg" or similar, there is a post on here somewhere of all the command line switches, thats where i found my solution.

Thank you Belinda! That worked perfectly, it was -loadimg. So weird that -loadbin wouldn't let it list .bin files heh.

Thanks again!

Ah, well that made the files show up in the list, but -loadimg isn't an actual option. I got it working now, I ended up just making a batch file with "ePSXe.exe -nogui -loadbin %1" and then just call that for loading ROMs. Thanks again for you help.
