Video and DVDs in GameEx ...

Hi

I started fiddling with the Video playback features of GameEx and have a few questions.

- I am using an external player to view Videos and DVDs, but the stats ('number of times watched', last time, etc) don't seem to be updated

- In the preview window of DVDs, I see only a black screen. Should there be something else ?

- and the most annoying ...

Is there a way to stop separating Videos and DVDs ?

For me it's the same thing. They are all videos. It's just a matter of container and file format.

So I'd like to see them appear nicely in the same 'Video' category.

Is their any easy way to achieve that ? :)

Bumping as I'm also having the same issues as well.

Black screen on second display with video playback but not emulators.

More playback controls, stop, skip, info etc depending on the player.

I'd also like to second the request for DVD hard disk files to be treated the same as video files as they are in Media Center.
