Updated to latest GameEx 9.88. Before that, I think I was a couple versions behind since I was replacing the motherboard in the system and it was down for a while. I also updated the NVidia video driver around the same time too. Now GameEx crashes with the attached error when launching any emulated game. I attached a copy of my GamEx.ini file as well.

Please help, my kids want their GameEx back!

Thanks!

Looks to me like there is a list that has no data and GameEx is not tolerant. The only thing I can suggest is to temporarily disable all emulators to see if that fixes it. If it does, then you will probably need to delete the cached files (probably the solution either way actually).

That fixed it! Wow that is impressive turnaround for fixing a bug! Thanks.

By the way, while looking around in the GameEx.ini before updating to 9.89 I noticed that some emulator configs had RomsInFolders=True some had =False and some had =[blank]. I had not set any of these options as they were a new feature.

I changed them all to RomsInFolders=False

Thanks again. Now my kids can stop bugging me. :)

Your welcome.

It was an old feature that was never implemented, and later removed from the configuration tools.

Wow. I think that might have fixed the create snaps missing issue that I was having as well. I noticed that it is back now. Thanks!
