installed new MAME32 version and now wont load

I installed the latest version of MAME32 and now GameEx wont launch any of my MAME games.

However they launch out of MAME32 without issues

Any ideas what might cause this?

You need to post your log ,so people can help you ,its in

C:\Program Files\GameEx\LOG

try clearing the mame command line options in gameex.ini.

Tom, if you're reading i think maybe gameex should come with no options already there, or at least remove the troubesome ones.

It does with new installs, although I cant do much with upgrades without risking wiping out settings.

By the way, it might be best not to point newbies to editing GameEx.ini if you can help it. Every single setting is available by the configuration app, and the settings are managed and controlled to be correct within that, ie by drop downs. I am not even documenting GameEx.ini anymore as youve probably noticed.

thanx guys by far not a n00b but tries wiping settings and reconf via cofig tool which loads game but disables the controllers. will try tommorrow when i am sober and the grad final has worn off
