Problem creating my own Theme

Hi guys and girls. Im having a small problem when creating my own there.

If you look in the pic below you'll see the wording "Favorites" has a grate big black block around it. This happens with all the words that appear there. how do i change that so that its see through instead ... Thks

no that is not the answer. there is a black out line or box arround the wording , there is no picture there its text ... Why ?

I dont what a Black box aground the wording.

Just use a picture with your text labels and make sure the black is Absolute Black. These are made as icons I'm pretty sure, not just text tabs.

You can try the following:

Try disabling the gradient on the page title, to do this add the following under the [General] section of the 'Theme.ini'

[General]
GradientTitleFont=False

If that doesn't work, check your background image, if the background is 100% black in places, lighten it by a couple of percent (as tempest suggests).

ill test that out tomorrow atm i just disabled it for now ...
