How do you deal with exiting MUGEN?

I'm using a gamepad for a little HTPC project . . I will need to map ESCAPE to a gamepad key, as its used to go back to the menu in Mugen, and then also to exit the program.

But wouldn't pressing escape to go back to the menu, exit the program entirely through Gameex? Is there a way to change that? To re-map what button exits a program to get back to Gameex?

I know there is for emulators, but not individual programs . .

Yes, check out the advanced configuration for your emulator. You can use multiple keys to exit. You will also need to turn off the setting to exit with escape.
