First time start Error: Only TrueType fonts are supported.

I searched the forum for other threads about this and found one but it ended without any real answers. So I thought it might be best if I just asked in a new thread.

The old rule.... don't fix what isn't broken. GameEx ran fine before but I wanted to update everything and start fresh so I did anyway. So I downloaded the latest GameEx and the latest Mame (129u3). I can run games fine with MameUI64 but when I try to start up GameEx I get the following error. I tried changing fonts and using different themes but to no avail. I am only using themes that come with the download. Any ideas? TIA

Hmm very interesting. Wht build did you upgrade from?

Have you cleared out your TEMP directory.

Can you post your gameex.ini? Have you tried using a default gameex config ini?
